JANMASHTMI

Janmashtmi is considered to be the most prominent festival of Hindus. This festival is celebrated across the globe by the Krishna Bhakt, "Darkness cannot Drive out darkness, only light can do that." Keeping this beautiful thought in mind, the Janmashtmi celebration at SAMBAL SAMITI commenced with Pooja and Aarti in the Divine's presence where each and every soul was embraced in the blessings of Almighty Dahi Handi was the attraction of the day. According to Hindu scriptures, Lord Krishn's love for Makhan (Butter) and Dahi (Curd) led him to playful thievery in his childhood. This playful act was recreated  beautifully by the kids who did everything from the depth of their hearts. This innocent act captivated the hearts of the people around. Wrapping of the function was done with the distribution of Prasad - a pious symbol of the festival.
